Lake temp 47 F | April 1 2022<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today at the lake it was cold and choppy. I pushed too hard to do my 20 minute swim, and now I’m really exhausted. Still, I’m always glad to get my water time in. I always feel better, even if I make myself extra tired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been testing a thermal wetsuit. I appreciate the chance to test out different suits, but I wish I could find the perfect suit for me. Lots of fit issues with my odd body. This suit does a great job of keeping me warm, almost to warm in the legs. and for some reason it has a cold spot in the lower back. I’m not aware of where any water gets in, but it definitely pools in my lower back. That’s ok. Cold is a little jolt of “wake up” to my nervous system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
